Hey there! Welcome to Isabella Maimone Nutrition.

I’m Isabella, an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist, holding a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours (Griffith University).

I currently specialise in providing nutrition support for those undergoing surgical and non-surgical weightloss options to assist in their weightloss journey. I have helped hundreds of people transform their lives and absolutely LOVE that I can make a positive impact towards helping clients create a healthier lifestyle and be the best version they can be through evidence-based approaches.

My Mission

Weightloss surgery (WLS) goes beyond the scales. It’s a lifestyle change that not only creates AMAZING physical transformations, but rather, a lifelong journey that paves a way for you to break down barriers and push past self-limiting beliefs. It allows you to unlock untapped potential to reignite vitality and embrace a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My mission is to not only break down the stigma that is associated with WLS as an ‘easy’ way out, but to also provide top-quality support to those embarking on this journey by empowering them to reclaim control and reignite their inner strength with confidence and ease.

My Approach

Weight loss surgery is more than just chasing a number on the scale; it empowers you to create a complete lifestyle change. With empathy and compassion, I take a holistic approach with my clients, which integrates nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle support which are all crucial for achieving sustainable, long-term results.

I not only educate you on the importance of healthy eating and nourishing your body, but also provide practical and personal guidance to make it easy without sacrificing foods that you love. Together, we break down barriers and cultivate a positive mindset to overcome challenges and self-sabotaging behaviours, enabling you to establish positive habits for lasting success.

COMMUNITY

Community lies at the heart of everything we do; fostering connections, supporting each other, and creating a sense of belonging.

EMPOWERMENT

Through empowerment, we strive to uplift individuals, providing the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential.

CONFIDENCE

Confidence is key in our approach, as we inspire self-assurance and belief in oneself to overcome challenges as they happen.

KINDNESS

Kindness permeates our interactions, as we prioritise empathy, understanding, and compassion in our business.

Why did I choose to specialise in this area?

Weightloss surgery is continually evolving and emerging as a top-tier solution to address the complex issue of obesity and improve weight related conditions (eg: type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, blood pressure).

As obesity rates keep climbing, more & more people are turning to weight loss surgery for a fresh start.

Working as a Bariatric Dietitian for several years, I have helped hundreds of people transform their health and have first handedly seen the positive outcomes that it has had on their life. This has included:

The ability to conceive after failed IVF treatments

• Improve PCOS and insulin resistance

• Reduced joint pain and increased energy levels

• No longer requiring medications for diabetes, cholesterol or blood pressure medication

My Why

I set out and wanted to bridge the gap between the lack of services provided to clients after weight loss surgery & the quality and accessibility of these services for clients to utilise in a supportive and nurturing environment.
